AS Roma to Host Bayer Leverkusen in Europa League Semi-Final

AS Roma, under the leadership of manager Daniele De Rossi, will face off against Bayer Leverkusen in the first leg of the Europa League semifinals at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome on 2 May 2024. The match is scheduled to kick off at 1900 UTC.
Roma, the 2021-22 Europa Conference League champions, qualified for the semifinals after defeating Manchester United in the Round of 16 and Barcelona in the quarterfinals. Bayer Leverkusen, on the other hand, reached the last four by eliminating AS Monaco and Rangers.
The two teams have met once before in European competition, with Roma winning 3-0 in the UEFA Champions League in 2015. However, Leverkusen has won two of its last three matches against Italian opposition in the Europa League.
Roma will be looking to continue their impressive home form in European competition, having won their last three matches at the Stadio Olimpico. Bayer Leverkusen, meanwhile, will be aiming to extend their winning streak in the Europa League to four matches.
The winner of this tie will face the winner of the other semifinal between Arsenal and Villarreal in the final on 11 May 2024 in Budapest.
